Terms & Conditions

We want everyone to have a safe, fun and memorable experience at our ice rink. Please take a moment to read our key terms and conditions before you skate.

1. Skate at your own risk

  • Ice skating is an exciting and enjoyable activity, but it does carry risks.
  • All skating is at your own risk. Leisure Events accepts no liability for any injuries, damage, or loss experienced by skaters or spectators.

2. Understand the risks of skating

By entering the rink area, you accept and understand that injuries can occur, including:

  • Collisions with other skaters or people on the ice.
  • Falls that may cause sprains, bruises, or fractures (especially to ankles, wrists, or arms).
  • Cuts or injuries from handling sharp skate blades.
  • Wet surfaces around the rink, which may be slippery.

3. Admission & security

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities.

  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to the ice rink, its surrounding areas, or the venue if necessary for safety reasons.
  • Security checks may be carried out at entry to keep everyone safe – please be patient with our team.

4. Tickets & refunds

We want to make your booking experience easy and smooth:

  • Tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be resold or exchanged.
  • Please double-check your booking details before confirming, as mistakes cannot always be corrected later.
  • Altered, defaced, or damaged tickets will not be accepted and will be considered void.
  • We cannot replace lost or stolen tickets, so please keep them safe.

5. Weather guarantee

The main ice rink is covered and therefore designed to operate in most weather conditions. The ice path is in the open air and is more subject to adverse weather conditions. However:

  • Extreme weather may sometimes interrupt sessions.
  • If a session is cancelled or cut short before 30 minutes of skating, you'll be offered a ticket for another session (subject to availability) or a refund.
  • Once 30 minutes or more of skating time has passed, refunds will not be issued.

6. Behaviour & safety standards

We want a friendly and welcoming environment for all:

  • Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or behaving in an unsafe or inappropriate way, may be asked to leave without a refund.
  • For everyone's safety, please don't smoke or vape, eat, drink, use mobile phones, or film and take photos whilst skating.
  • All tickets are issued in line with venue rules, health & safety regulations, and licensing laws.

7. Arrival & session attendance

Your skating session starts on the hour.

  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for check-in and skate fitting.
  • Late arrivals will not be able to have their full session time. We cannot carry time over to other sessions due to capacity restrictions.
  • Each ticket is valid only for the session and time stated on it.

8. Skating session length

Each session lasts 45 minutes:

  • Each skating session will start on the hour and last for 45 minutes. This allows 15 minutes of ice resurfacing to ensure a smooth skating surface for the next session.
  • When your session ends, please leave the ice promptly so the next session can begin on time.

9. Photography & media consent

We love capturing the joy of skating and sharing it with the community:

  • By entering the venue, you consent to being photographed or filmed.
  • These images and videos may be used by us for future event promotion.
  • If you'd prefer not to appear in publicity images, please speak to a member of staff on arrival.

10. Liability & personal belongings

Your safety matters, but accidents can happen:

  • All skating and attendance is at your own risk.
  • We cannot accept responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings during your visit.
  • The Promoter is only liable for death or personal injury where it results from our own negligence.

11. Conflicting terms

  • If there's any difference between these terms and those from an external ticket agent, these terms take priority.

12. Age & supervision policy

We want children and families to feel safe and have fun together:

  • Minimum age for skating is 4 years old.
  • Children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied on the ice by an adult or guardian.
  • Children aged 8 to 12 years must be supervised at all times – either on the ice or from the rink perimeter.
  • We reserve the right to refuse entry to any child who does not meet these requirements.

13. Accessibility & carer policy

We want to make skating accessible wherever possible:

  • Wheelchair users are welcome on the ice rink. We recommend purchasing a ticket during off peak times so it's not as busy.
  • Carers receive free entry when accompanying a full-paying concession ticket holder.
  • Please note: carers are not provided by the Promoter, so visitors must bring their own assistance if required.

Thank you. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding in helping us create a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Have fun and skate safely!
